Seeking Experienced Shopify Web Developer

We're a small web development agency located in the United States. We're currently looking to bring on 1-2 part-time freelancers that have EXPERIENCE with Shopify custom web development. We need someone who to start off can devote upwards to 20 hours a week and is available during our business hours (M-F 9am - 5pm EST). We need individuals who have 1+ years of web development experience with Shopify and Shopify Plus. Responsibilities: • Develop new projects in Shopify using the latest technologies. • Support any ongoing improvements, fixes, and other support related development work. • Maintain and enhance existing projects by adding and improving development and UX features. • Build designs that conform with updated web standards including pre-defined design frameworks, e-commerce best practices, and more. • Further ensure that all coding standards are met; optimizing the web architectures for navigability and accessibility, mobile responsiveness and other standards. • Work with team members to discuss and address client challenges that arise • Very detailed oriented to ensure all work is client-ready • Apply previous knowledge and engage in continuous growth to constantly evolve and develop skills Required Skills • 2+ years experience in web design & development. • 1+ years of Shopify Experience. • Formal Graphic Design training a plus, not required. Self-taught learners also preferred • Expert knowledge of Liquid, HTML/HTML5, CSS/SCSS, Javascript, JQuery, and coding practices and standards • Great written and verbal skills • Great problem solving skills a must. • Someone who does not need hand-holding, supervision • Ambitious and great work ethic • Results driven and detail oriented
