Greetings, friends! I am using jQuery library to extend some functionality of JavaScript. Mainly additional functions used from jQuery are: $.getJSON $.append .. and maybe few others. A minimized jQuery library takes 85KB. That is a lot of space. The goal is to slipstream only the necessary parts of javascript code in HTML, so the minimised JavaScript takes 10kb or less. Right now everything works on Internet Explorer 11, Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Opera without any errors inside the browser "Console" window and I would like to stay it so. Here is the demo: [login to view URL] .Inside the head section, after minimized jQuery there are humanly readable functions (decode64, dataURItoBlob, ac) which need to be satisfied. Hope it is solvable and it is possible to do it with less of javascript code. $getjson and $append both are mainly used javascript functions. You can rewrite their functionality but in that you javascript will become heavier. So reducing the size of jquery to 10KB and increasing the size of your javascript doesn't make sense. At last, its all JAVASCRIPT whether it belongs to jquery or your own. The workaround you should look for is to remove the methods from jquery that you are not using at all OR just create your custom file and copy paste the methods that you are using only like GetJson and Append. If you still want to rewrite these two methods in your own custom javascript. Contact me
