I am looking to build a Wordpress based social media membership site with multiple plugins requiring custom modification and integration, or creation of new compatible custom plugins if needed, to create a unique and highly functional site. The site needs to be built to handle potentially a high volume of daily and weekly visitors and membership users. A high volume of audio and video use is expected by the potential users. Some of the plugin integration required include a social media plugin (such as buddy press), woocommerce, classifieds, job listing API, affiliate data feed API, AdSense like affiliate ad, and paid membership affiliate program for site members. The site should be very secure from hackers and all membership data should be available to transfer to a different website when the time comes to upgrade, if needed or recommended. The site should be mobile friendly, but also an accompanying app is desired as well. I am not a programmer or trained in web technology, so there may be a better way to go about building such a site, and I am open to all ideas and opinions.

As a senior developer I suggest you not to use too many plugins in the website as it will slow the speed of the website. I recommend custom coding to build the functionality of plugins and only use necessary plugins. I am very much comfortable in developing your membership based website with all features. WordPress expert here. If you want this type of application within WordPress, I think it will be super slow. So if you want to use WP, then you need to do all custom inside the theme instead of using too many plugins. Just use the only necessary ones and do the custom coding inside theme.
