I am writing a book entitled Working with Death and Loss in Shiatsu Practice and it will be published in September 2020 by Singing Dragon which is an imprint of Jessica Kingsley.
I am looking for illustrations and photographs of myself or someone else doing chi gung exercises, meditation, and Shiatsu. Here is a similar book [login to view URL]
The uploaded files are only examples. I do not need as much detail re face and hair, only positions of hands and limbs, torso and head.
Approx 60 small (1.5 inches/3 cms tall) line artwork drawings: a person doing an exercise , a figure with arrows, or body parts with acupressure point location indicated on it, a few other very simple eg YinYang symbol - figurative ones can be made from photos (600 dpi greyscale jpeg or tiff files)
Also, approx. 15 photos of me giving Shiatsu to another person. (b/w 1800 x 1200 pixels)
And, 5 general digital photos of eg someone meditating (b/w 1800 x 1200 pixels)
I am not being paid a fee for the writing (90,000 words) so this is an unpaid project for someone who would like to have their work published. In return I can offer Shiatsu sessions (Shiatsu is a type of Japanese 1-2-1 acupressure massage on the clothed body - [login to view URL] and / or [login to view URL] (blog) in return, or accommodation in Edinburgh for a short period of time (including during the Edinburgh Festival 2019), or something similar (supervision, exercise or diet recommendations etc).
