Before bid, read carefully all my description and answer the questions:
And then submit a proposal for experience1 if you think you can do.!!!
We have an Enterprise client that is looking to build two augmented reality experiences by the end of the year. We are looking for highly skilled freelancers or agencies with a proven history in delivering high quality augmented reality projects for either iPads or a halo lens. Bonus if you have experience doing projects for the medical industry, double bonus if you have experience with Orthopedic Surgeons.
The client has laid out three possible experiences, we would like you to pick one that you feel most skilled to complete. (You can also see all 3 visually in the attached PPT deck) These experiences will be used as examples to show Orthopedic Providers and understand the value this potential technology could add to the medical space.
Experience 1: Implant selection
Currently providers do sizing in the middle of surgery. This causes inefficiencies but also means the provider has to open dozes of implants to find the right fit. We are hoping to build a AR experience to be used with an iPad or Halo Lens during surgery. This would need to use a reference frame with dimensional sizing. We can also provide all the 3D models of all instruments and implants. The physician would be able to use the iPad/HL during surgery to hold over the injury and then select various implants from the experience and see how they would fit.
Experience 2: Back Table Interaction
Nurses equipment for orthopedic surgery is vast and impossible to know each tool for all the various types of surgery. Often a sales person for these tools is in surgery and shows the nurse how to put tools together, what goes to what etc. This AR would be an iPad or HL that the nurse would hold over the back table and when they lift up a tool it would call out what it is and/or highlight what other tools work with it. This could be used before or during surgery.
Experience 3: Trauma Image Overlay
Typically in surgery from a trauma a surgeon will take an Xray with a C-Shot machine and then use that image to determine where to attach/rotate/drill etc. This would have a reference point on the injury area that the C-Shot image shows, the C-Shot image will then come to the AR experience and the provider could overlay the image on top of the injury. Would be great if tools (drills) can also be seen and the AR could stitch together multiple images to get a great understanding of how things need to be put back together.
Please submit a proposal for 1 experience and give us a bid for that one only. It will also be helpful to understand the timing of it and any sample of work you can provide in the AR space that would showcase your ability to complete this project successfully.
Questions are below,
