Create javascript code to collect visitor data

SUMMARY
I'd like a javascript code that collects visitor data, similar to how Google Analytics works. The reason I'm doing this is that Google Analytics doesn't provide the user-level data I'm looking for easily. So I'll need to create my own analytics, with no front end. Just data from browsers fed into a database.
What I ultimately want is to collect the data and store it in a database where each row is a unique visitor ID and session combination. I.e., I want to make sure to cookie each visitor and assign them a unique ID. Then each column in the database is all information we can collect about the user's attributes and behavior.
COLLECTED DATA TYPES
User attributes are all the information you can find in Google Analytics: E.g., location, browser, resolution, referring URL, referring keyword, medium, etc.
User behavior is clickstream data: E.g., 1st page the user visited, 2nd page the user visited, time on each page, repeat visits over multiple sessions, etc.
VOLUME & SCALABILITY
I plan to intitially use this on very low volume sites, like less than 20k uniques a day. However, I may want to use it on higher volume sites later. So please let me know if there's anything you can easily do now to facilitate scale in the future.
CHOICE OF PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE AND DATABASE
I'm open to anything that can operate in Amazon Web Services. Other than that, and perhaps as it may relate to speed or scale, I don't really care.
