I believe the problem is that you are using an onClick Listener in your HTML. onClick listeners are not supported my iphones/pads You should use javascript to listen for the screen being touched instead of having it inline in the HTML $('element').bind( "touchstart", function(e) { alert('Span Clicked!') });
