Need a simple Mozilla extension developed,it will be used for personal use, wont be published. In a browser , there will be always 2 tabs open : one will be static HTML local dashboard page on desktop. Lets call it 'tab-a' . Other tab will have http page . Lets call it 'tab-b' .The input fields on this http page of 'tab-b' need to be populated by the extension. Here is diagram of tab-a and tab-b: [login to view URL] The static HTML dash page just has a simple table , here is link to file - [login to view URL],css,output Feel free to edit it to add any element 'id' I would like robust battle tested extension code that can work fine on any webpage. So I would like you to use the Javascript core logic from this extension 'Paste Email (Original) for Quantum' Specifically to identify the input that was clicked and to paste value in it. Hi. The way I understand the scope: Have a field(input) in the dashboard, which will have a certain value. When you go to some other page, and click the extension icon, the value from the dashboard will be pasted into that element, if it's an input or a textarea. You will need to make sure that the needed element is focused (by clicking on it first).

Hi The information about the destination tab enough clear - focused input or textarea. But for me not clear the logic for source tab. If I correctly understood you, the extension need to take the value of the first cell (second row, first column) in the table on tab A?
