Node.js - get a package working

I wish to use a small package in one of my projects, however after installing, I can't seem to get the demo working. I suspect because it's last modified 3 years ago and not supported for the latest version of Node.JS 8.12.0 (running under Windows, if that matters). I don't want you to redo/make a new version from scratch, just get the existing one working. Please bid if you know what you are doing, are familiar with Node.JS packages and can complete the task. I don't know if you will need to modify the actual package, if you need to, go ahead.
