Update Joomla 3.6 website incl. eventual fixes to custom components in PHP / JS

Dear Developers, we are a small business in the out-of-home entertainment industry, currently running a Joomla 3.6 website with custom components that we would like to update. This is a test project to see how well you can understand and get used to our system. We are looking to find a developer to work with after this project on an ongoing basis for further updates and feature requests as capped fees as well as on an hourly rate basis depending on the task. So please APPLY ONLY if you are interested in an ongoing work relationship, please also include your hourly rate. We would like to have a capped fee for this project and eventual bug fixes of the work should be free. Here are some examples of our FUTURE PROJECTS, to check with your stack: - A Joomla backend set up to easily add a translation into english to every website - An implementation of a picture CDN subcription named "Gumlet" - An implementation of a customer feedback platform named "Endorsal" - Website security related updates and features - Optimization of the SEO of the website - Developing new and tweaking the current joomla components - Website design changes such as implementing a new template The custom components are mostly written in PHP and Javascript and include: - a google calendar read/write function and MySQL database; - a database for games statistics - a very basic custom online shop for gift certificates with a paypal integration - a database and statistics for generating/using gift certificates as PDF and QR codes - a basic community component (jomsocial) tweaked to work together with the games statistics database. It is likely that some of the custom components could need to be tweaked to continue to function properly after the Joomla update. So you should set up an online test environment where we could also test the updated site. We provide plenty of hosting possibilities for the test environment. It is also required that you eliminate the cross-site-scripting vulnerability that is currently possible (but probably it will eliminate itself after the joomla update). You should also test the website's functionality before and after the update, to have a comparison of whether it is working properly. The website is not in English, but you do not need to know the language. Some variable names or commentaries in the original code could also be not english, so translating could be required. If you are translating them anyways, you should directly translate the comments into english and put your own ones in english. We will communicate in english, so you should be able to understand and write it really well. You should be able to start working asap, at latest in the week of 18th May.
