Hello sir: I usually use this protocol in WISPs instead of vlan for lowering broadcast effect and mpls/vpls in Mikrotik has low CPU over head but it has effect on mtu. I think checking your network with Mikrotik packet sniffer helps solving this issue. please feel free to contact me.
