- Written in Visual C++. Emphasis on high performance, low latency - App will run in Windows Server 2016 OS - App will have UDP Unicast/Broadcast client to receive datagrams (regular text) on one or more ports (number of ports configurable as needed) - App will have UDP Unicast/Broadcast client to receive datagrams (Google Protobuf) on one or more ports (number of ports configurable as needed) - App will have UDP Unicast/Broadcast server to send datagrams (either standard text or Cap'n Proto), and will also send periodic heartbeats.

Hi, I'd love to tackle this for you. Do I understand correctly that this project is about rewriting the c++ implementation to rust? The application has several UDP inputs, and outputs, but it's not clear what it should actually do? I can give you an exact quote after I get that info.
