Hi There, There is nothing satisfying than working on the iterative process of optimising infrastructure. You have mentioned 64 GB RAM. Just by increasing RAM is not going to help. There are other bits. The same server may be good for throughput from iops perspective, but structured database like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MSSQL use the memory, disk and other resources very differently. Attacking on your issue involves the followings: - Assessing the current setup, that includes hardware, software, middleware, access pattern, latency - Impact: Is this issue hurting all users (databases, tables) or a specific one - Propose/design a solution and then implement it with a proper change management to minimise the outage. Hello, I have gone through the requirement and understand that mysql takes longer time to process the query. From the project description, I understand that server has 64GB RAM which is quite enough to handle the traffic. Inorder to improve the performance, we can perform below things. 1. Tweak Mysql Parameter such tmp_table_size, join_buffer_size 2. Setup mysql tunner script to optimize the database server 3. Enable slow query log to store the queries which takes long time to execute. We may need to coordinate with developer to optimize those queries.
