Mascot Logo for Fast Food Restaurant

Mascot logo needed for a fast food restaurant called Mr. Fish & Chips. The restaurant specialises in fish and chips as well as premium quality burgers. We want to create a mascot logo of a fish with almost human like qualities - the fish should be wearing clothes that make him look australian (shorts and a singlet), and should have legs/feet instead of a tail. The style to look at for inspiration is the fish characters in Spongebob Squarepants. The logo must be modern and playful, without looking childish or cheap. The mascot will be utilised in all advertising material and must be recognisable as a mascot for the restaurant - ie. the character in the logo IS "Mr Fish and Chips". As the brand is Australian, we want our mascot to come across as an Australian - laid back, relaxed and fun wearing a singlet and shorts, or something similar. The fish can be doing something like going fishing, or giving a thumbs up. The target audience is 18-40 year old students and working class professionals with families. Colours to be utilised are dark blue, yellow and white. Open to addition of further colours if needed however we do not want too many colours to be utilised. The fish needs to be used as a standalone character as well as included as part of the logo.
