Microsoft Word for Mac 2016 does not have a native ability to customize the button images to launch my custom MS Word Macros. I use 32-bit Word for Mac 2011 because it has this functionality. But I can't upgrade to latest version of Mac OS, which renders incompatible all 32-bit applications.
I understand that Word for Mac 2016 allows for customization of buttons to fire Macros, either in the so-called "Quick Access Toolbar" (QAT) or through a customized ribbon (I'm not sure which, or if both). I understand custom macro button images can be added to the QAT using XML modifications to certain developer files that support Word for Mac 2016 (See e.g. on the issue: [login to view URL])
I also understand there is freeware software called "Custom UI," only available on Windows operating system, that can help make the necessary XML changes to customize the macro button images on the QAT (discussed at the link above). I don't know. I don't have a Windows machine.
What I have:
(1) About 30 MS Word macros I wrote in VBA
(2) The button icon files for those 30 macros that I want to use.
What I need:
Someone that can provide me turn-key functionality that links my button images to my macros, for use in Word for Mac 2016.
If you're reading this, and don't know what I'm talking about, you're not the right person for this job. Please only apply if (a) you know exactly what I'm talking about and need, AND (b) have done this before (that is, you have modified current versions of Word with custom button images in a way that works on Word for Mac 2016 or above), for yourself or others.

Hello
I am a macOS system developer. I also created various add-ins for Microsoft Office, both for Mac and Windows versions of Word (please have a look at my portfolio).
I have faced with multiple restrictions of the Mac version of Office, which I had overcome in different ways: like creating an external process that interacts with Word and mimics an addin functionality, mimicking macros commands via AppleScript events, and so on.
if this project is still actual, I can research how Word 2016's Ribbon is generated on macOS, and whether quick access toolbar can be modified externally on macOS.
First, I worked with custom button images for macros on Windows before but I didn't do the same thing on Mac (yet). But I have Office 2016 on my Mac that's why I'm sure that you'll be impressed with my work.
I can provide you instruction how you can add you custom button images to your Word 2016 on your Mac in less than 36 for just $500.
Thanks.
Roman
