Medical Writer - onsite Transcription and post summary

Hi, We are looking to engage an experienced Medical Writer to attend and transcribe at a forthcoming meeting in San Diego at the WORLD Symposium. We would need them to provide transcribing support services at the event and also write a post meeting summary to provide to client. Here with some basic information from our client for the medical writer asking for them to attend and transcribe their Ad Board during World Symposium which is being held in San Diego on 5 February 2018. · What specific area of disease or knowledge is needed? Fabry & Gaucher would be ideal – but a solid medical writer background here should be sufficient · Who will be the client contact on the day? TBC · Would it be okay for this person to come from the UK as this is more likely to be someone we know, or do they have to be US based? They would like a local person to California and won’t pay for a UK person to travel out · Is there a budget which we need to aware of? No · Will they be required to do any pre-event work? They’ve advised one hour pre-work should be sufficient to read through meeting overview and objectives · Will you be able to provide any pre-read data on your position / drug? Yes, if requested, however solid medical writing background to capture main points of discussion should be sufficient Client – TBC Event – WORLD Symposium Adboard Date – 05 February 2018 Venue – Manchester Grand Hyatt, San Diego, USA Time – Around 7:30am to 12:30/1:00pm Pax – 10 (tbc – could be 8 potentially) Meeting Room – Solana Beach A The key area of focus for this event is within Fabry & Gaucher and Rare Disease,therefore understanding and possible previous exposure would be great, although solid medical writer background here should be sufficient!
