Logistics Coordinator/ Data Entry Specialist Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Enters data electronically daily into an ACCESS database detailing all customer and vendor orders.
Systematically records the movement of material from order request forms and or transfer sheets.
Contacts vendors for order status, pickup and deliveries.
Ensures proper execution of product delivery for all customer orders, including pro-active communication on the status of goods in transit and documents necessary
Provides sales/design staff with shipping quotes, compares cost based on quotes provided by freight carriers to provide best cost for clients.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and etiquette with customers, vendors, & employees.
Sets up weekly company truck pickup and delivery schedule.
