Help Migrate Email from Email service to Microsoft Business Cloud Exchange and 365

We currently have 36 Total Email Addresses at our Domain name. hosted at Intermedia. 10 of these are EXCHANGE Accounts, the others are POP Accounts.
The issue I have right now, is as we are working from home - Our Microsoft Office Business plan has a hosed exchange we are not using.
Therefore, all users who try to access their email uses an autofind that finds a blank exchange server hosting my domain, [login to view URL]
Meanwhile, [login to view URL] is hosted at Intermedia.
For this reason, I believe I have to exchange servers running concurrently causing issues. I can use webmail to check our email at Intermedia.
I am not familiar with Exchange, and need to hour an expert to help with making the situation unified.
-I do not want to purchase 36 seats of Microsoft Business, only 11-14 people would need actual business accounts, so having the ability to add additional pop accounts for different uses is nice. I am not sure how this is done in Microsoft Office Business
-MOST Important - I can not disrupt business operations. If migrations can happen at night a few at a time, while I move people in AM, that would help.
Maybe there is a simpler solution - Having the two EXCHANGE Servers talk to each other to share info? I do not know.
I am looking for an experienced Freelancer with Microsoft EXCHANGE and Outlook to help me hourly to come up with a plan and deploy it.
