hi, a trigger is an event that fire an action. The event could take place a database level or table level.I don't have Gitlab account. I am a SQL Server expert and I could suggest more options to have the results

Dear employer, With your requirement, if you want to use trigger, you have to define at least 6 triggers for insert, 6 for delete and 6 for update to sync data whenever the data changed. Notes: to archive your goal, we also need to create linked server to execute query remotely. I'm thinking for another solution. Hello, I don’t use gitlab, i’m new to this. A trigger is a stored procedure that initiate an action when an event insert/update/delete occurs. If you need to sync data from azure db to on prem sql server you can use DATA SYNC with some limitations (max 500 tables, and some specific data conntent) it can run as fast as min 5 min delay. If you need to sync from on prem to Azure Db then you can use normal transactional replication, azure db can be a subscription to a publication on prem. Have a nice day, hope this helps you.

I have good knowledge in ms sql development and administration., and having 9 years experience in IT. by using trigger (after insert, update and delete) can apply same changes from one to another db with the support of linked server connection between these two servers.

I Azure SQL Server expert and had done similar work before it will take 1-2 hours to complete this.
