There are various methods for example to update one google sheet and deliver this to linked files. The main advantage is, that, in difference to other approaches: once a file is generated it can be moved to whereever, the connection does not get lost because they do not work with file paths but with file identifiers. I need more in depth information, would propose to do a video call. During this call I can also show examples to you.
