I need a basic Android application that can send user inputed text to a server and listen for incoming notifications and then receive data from the same sever. The connection will need to be made using TCP and the server side of the connection will listen on a TCP port for incoming messages from the Android App it will also send notifications to the client that should then instruct the client to connect to the server and receive text. I will take care of the server side of the transactions, it is just the client side I would like coded up please. The server has not been coded yet so I am happy to discuss how best for the server/client to interact. You MUST have previous experience with creating Android apps that communicate over TCP for both sending and receiving data.
