Developer for a mobile app (Like UberEats & Turo)

Job Brief: We are looking for a strong mobile app developer who welcomes both software development and maintenance tasks. The primary focus of this application will be to provide an efficient online platform to connect the customer with the service provider based on the location and preferences. Similar applications are Uber/Eats, Turo and Airbnb. This application needs to be developed in Android and iOS. You must figure out simple and effective ways to manage user data and display important information in a most user friendly way. You will be working with our candid and collaborative team, where your knowledge and advice about application architecture and the newest mobile technologies will be highly appreciated. The code you write will need to be cleanly organized and of the highest quality. You’ll also help ensure solid application performance and an excellent user experience. Responsibilities: - Developing new features and user interfaces from wireframe models - Documenting all the requirements of the application and making sure to capture them in the functionality of the app. - Making sure the application is thoroughly tested on various cell phones and OS versions. - Ensuring the best performance and user experience of the application - Fixing bugs and performance problems Requirements/Skills: - Must have previously developed (need proof) applications in both Android and iOS - Extensive knowledge about mobile app development. This includes the whole process, from the first line of code to publishing in the store(s) - Ability to capture and document requirements of the project. - Ability to thoroughly test the application using various phones and ensure compatibility with various android and iOS versions. - Deep knowledge of Android and iOS - Proficiency with writing automated tests in {{ JUnit, Espresso, Mocha, Jest, Enzyme, XCTest, etc. depending on the libraries you use to test }} - Familiarity with RESTful APIs and mobile libraries for networking, specifically {{ Retrofit, axios, Alamofire, etc. }} - Familiarity with the JSON format - Experience with profiling and debugging mobile applications Strong knowledge of architectural patterns—MVP, MVC, MVVM, and Clean Architecture—and the ability to choose the best solution for the app - Familiarity with push notifications - Understanding mobile app design guidelines on each platform and being aware of their differences - Proficiency in Android Studio { Java/Koltin/C/C++} and XCode - Proficiency in integration with other hardware like GPS and System clock. - Proficiency in integration with other applications like Calendar, Facebook, Google, Gmail and Paypal etc - Able to communicate efficiently - Meet the deadlines IMPORTANT: Our budget for this project is $5000 CAD When you apply for the job please mention the capital of Canada at the top of the application, so that we know you have completely read and understood the job requirements and budget.
