We are looking for a React Native developer to create the front-end of our mobile app. The API for this mobile app is currently in the works, so we are looking for a developer to get started on composing the rough mockup of the various states of our app so that it is ready to accept data from the live API feed when it becomes available. This is a relatively basic application in the same vein as a other popular auctioning/buying/selling apps, so the views are looking for include user accounts, item indexes, search results, individual items, past transactions, etc. All of the views have been mocked up on an invision prototype that we will deliver to you, so you’ll be working from an already-made wireframe. The scope of this app will contain the following: - Approximately 20 different “pages” or views - The ability to serve notifications in the form of modals or toasts - Interaction with a device’s camera - Unit and integration tests The most important parts of this job are: - The creation of both android and iphone native apps using React Native - Must be architected for relatively easy future style changes - Must be ready to accept live data from API as it becomes available - Follow best practices, keeping things DRY and easily readable by other developers Our ideal candidate will be - An expert with React Native - A fluent English speaker - Available between 8am and 3pm PST Please provide samples of your work.
