Hi there, I'm Matt Sergei (do call me Matt) and would like to help you.
You need a script and/or WordPress import plugin, with proper input records of your PHP Melody database ("dump") export.
Since I don't use PHP Melody this really is not an issue - you need to provide the mentioned SQL dump export of your database. Due to usual WordPress database security settings I doubt that is possible to connect to your PHP Melody database remotely (to connect and fetch the records).
The plan is to:
1. Import your SQL export to my local/private hosting.
2. Export it to suitable import format for WordPress.
3. Write a PHP script and/or use a proper WordPress plugin to import your videos as posts.
4. Test and repeat until the result is satisfying.
It should be more advanced. What sources you have for your videos? Are they only from YouTube and other video portals (so not uploaded to your website)? If yes, then the videos will still work.
What about the post(s) where video will be imported? Maybe it would be smarter to create a video post template with text elements containing video meta data (year, category, tags, duration, genre, license etc). This is meant to be created before importing content.
As I've written - I need to see the SQL dump for the data structure of videos in PHP Melody database.
Otherwise I'm a webmaster and IT developer for 26 years, and WordPress developer for 11+ years.
I'm free from Friday and cannot accept bid before.
Regards and hope you're safe,
Matt
