Network Administrator with Linux and Windows Server Experience

JOB POSITION ============ Network Administrator to relocate to Mauritius. Experience in Linux, Windows Server, MySQL Server, Nginx, Apache, Asterisk FreePBX JOB SUMMARY =========== As a key member of ABZ Global Solutions, this position is responsible for all aspects of network administration including servers, desktop systems, communications hardware/software and office systems. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES ======================== ++ Network administration (including backup, security management, user account management, e-mail systems including e-mail web server, internet access, office systems, web servers, load balancers, phone systems and applications support). ++ Supports server, network and desktop hardware, software and applications. ++ Performs technology needs analysis. ++ Rolls out hardware and software to ensure optimal deployment of resources. ++ Plans, implements, optimises and supports the network and computing infrastructure plan. ++ Manages small to medium sized projects according to agreed upon budgets and schedules. ++ Assists with technology planning through ongoing research. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED ======================= Courses and/or exams in any of the following qualifications : CCNA, CCNP MCSE, MCSA, A+, Security+ ,Linux+, Server+, Network+ SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ===================== ++ Minimum of 5 years working experience in a similar position ++ Demonstrate knowledge of Linux and Windows servers and desktop products. ++ Demonstrate knowledge of setting up remote access for users. ++ Demonstrate ability to administer a multi node network including firewalls and security protocols. ++ Demonstrated ability to support networked printers and scanners. ++ Demonstrate working knowledge of current communications devices and protocols, server and desktop technologies including but not limited to PBX (FreePBX), VoIP. ++ Demonstrate knowledge of web server management and optimisation. ++ Demonstrate knowledge of database server management and optimistation. ++ Ability to negotiate hardware/software service and technical support contracts with vendors. ++ Ability to manage multiple projects, activities and tasks simultaneously. ++ Should be able to provide detailed reports.
