Hi. I do not quite understand what you want to get as a result. One BGP full view ~ 700k routes. Suppose you have several such full view. It is a lot of routes but it is not critical much for processing. First we need to select from the list those routes that are optimized. Or do you want to optimize all routes? To choose we need traffic information. Do you have netflows / sflow data? Suppose we already have a list of networks of routes that need to be optimized. What will be the optimization criterion? What will act as a sensor that will measure this criterion? Suppose we have both the criterion and the results of the sensor. What should you get as a result? route list? Equipment commands? You understand that if you change routes on your border routers, this will only affect outgoing traffic. Incoming traffic will come to you through the same provider as before. You can extend the route to yourself through a particular provider, but this will affect all AS. Some carriers allow changing metrics for specific ASs. But I suspect that they have a small size of this list. That is, global optimization will not work. Or do you have your own network with exit points in different data centers and you need to distribute traffic to these data centers without interfering with the work of BGP? I need a more detailed description of the task/problem.
