Hi, I can start working on your requirements immediately. We can first open a the document file to fetch the text out of if using open() function available in python. Then we can proceed with creating a model for document classification and can apply that model based on the natural language processing techniques over the input document. The document's text is classified in terms of feature vector, which is a list of numerical values representing some of the text's characteristics. For this we can use TF-IDF approach. We can now go ahead with training our model using machine learning algorithm like logistic regression. Finally, we will pass our document to this created model which will classify the text.
