Photoshopping two images for a catalogue

It requires editing an image of a room thermostat to prepare it for catalogue publication. It will include removal of the current background (new backgorund in white), improvement of the smoothness and the brightness of the surfaces as well as removing any image defect due to the use of a basic camera (flash, uneveness), casting a shadow of the product.
