I currently run an Online School for Natural Health and Holistic Education. We will eventually be employing Moodle ([login to view URL]) for our actual Degrees and Certification to track progress and have all of the educational material available to our students, etc.
Currently, we are only implementing Live Online Courses (which can be purchased Recorded also). Webex is currently the industry leader, but very expensive. So currently we are using a few services to make our Online Courses possible at an inexpensive overhead.
Here is our currently process:
We use Word Press to have the course description and all the details to be view by the student, we then paste into the HTML the buy-link from 1 Shopping Cart. For this specific course, we have both a Digital Document and Auto-responder, so they receive the PDF which contains the registration information through both the Digital Document and an Auto-Responder so they can attend the course.
They receive a generic link from Mitel Web Conferencing to attend the course and then they register with the Web Conference.
This is the current process. We want to establish this process to be less confusing and having a Customer Login area.
This is the option that I am considering:
Using [login to view URL] for my shopping cart, and having to use ASP because of this Plugin:
With this solution it isn't ideal, but it would work. It would purely work on the concept of Digital Download.
I would have the following:
Customer Login Area - where they could access their prior purchased Online Courses - indefinitely.
They would receive the Digital Download in their e-mail immediately after purchase and also immediately after purchase.
I am basically trying to accomplish this Payment/Registration Process where a individual can receive all of their information immediately and also pull it up in the future to access the generic link again to view the training.
