Resume (CV) Extraction

I desire an application to parse a resume (extract the concepts of 1. Contact Information; 2. Work / Employment Experience; and 3. Educational History). Broadly, this project may incorporate artificial intelligence, concept extraction, latent semantic analysis, latent semantic indexing, heuristic extraction, word algorithm, natural language parsing, natural language processing, automatic text processing, or text retrieval. This project is open ONLY to individuals who have experience in writing an application of this sort. Your bid proposal must include: 1. A list of the specific fields that you can extract from the 3 concepts listed above. 2. The percentage of accuracy you can provide for each field. 3. Your completed application will be tested with a data set of 10,000 actual resumes (primarily USA based job seekers) AND it must complete the processing within 2 hours. The application will be run on a server dedicated to your application - if you need greater than a 3.0 xeon processor with 2 gigs of RAM to accomplish this speed, you must specify your system requirements in your proposal. 4. The programming language(s) you will use to write the application and the operating system and database your application will require. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform The platform requirements (operating system, programming language(s), and database) are open to the bidder. Currently, we operate a Windows environment primarily with SQL Server and MySQL, but this will be a dedicated server and we can configure the server to meet the application.
