I need a site built for a client that is similar to [[login to view URL]][1].? The site cannot look the same - it needs to have it's own design.? Site should have most of the features of [[login to view URL]][1], but does not need all of them.? Some features needed are: ? --? unique graphic design (don't exactly copy the look of another site) ? -- a searchable database of restaurants/bars/events/movies/sports/shopping/the arts/bands/under age 21 activities/etc that will be presented as a site search function on the site? (both as basic keyword searches and? also combined category searches - example categories:? type, name, area, atmosphere, etc.) ? -- able to let users enter new? data that will automatically appear in the correct sections ? -- easy web based interface for site administrator so? he can update text, images,? ads ? -- some kind of banner ad control interface and report generator ? -- message boards - for each main category and for each entry.? ? -- dynamic clickable? calendar? where each day links to corresponding entries ? --? each entry will have cross referencing links ? --? posting users need to sign up for an account ? -- database? that will collect site statistics and user info -- sections such as movies and? sports may? send search queries to? - and receive data from - other? third party content providers ? The site DOES NOT need: ? -- free user email accounts ? -- chat room ? -- to accept credit card payments This site will deal with night life in the Delaware County area of Pennsylvania. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables): a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform ***NOTE*** Client has now stated he the site can be ASP or HTML pages (but to accomodate later additions, ASP would be better) - not ASP.NET. The site will be hosted on an IIS server. As before, the database should be a free SQL based database - MySQL, etc. But, remember, as mentioned above, there needs to be a simple web faced administrator interface built (the client does not know much about computers). I apologize for any sudden changes in the plaform requirements, but my client is not very computer literate, so please bear with us.
