This is a pretty easy job for an experienced developer.
I want to populate a tree structure and allow for retrieval, insert, delete and update to database capability.
I've done some research on the best way to use persistance with tree structures and found "Modified Preorder Tree Traversal" method.
A search on the internet will tell you how to implement this traversal method.
I want a small project that allows me to populate a tree from a database using this traversal method. It should also allow me to insert, delete and update the tree and database.
It should be generic so I can retrofit it for an application I'm building.
Create a simple swing gui that lets me test it out. And use mysql or access db. I suppose there would be one table called tree_data. It'll have 4 columns: id, tree_name, lft and rght.
Please tell me your cost and how long it would take you.
Thanks,
Mark
