Drupal - Images Missing / FCKEditor not working

We have 2 issues with our Drupal site that needs attention (in order of importantce): 1. Missing images. Suddenly we no longer can see any images attached to content on our site. They all show as placeholders. No major changes have been made to the site and hour host was unable to find any database issues. On person here said they were working late last week but when I try to restore an old backup (from May 15) to the dev site, they don't work there either... even after flushing the cache. 2. FCKEditor is no longer showing in the Creat Content screens - only a plain text box. We have tried reinstalling FCKEditor but have not had any luck.
