We need a project team to perform the integration of a number of different applications / products for the KM platform. Please provide a detailed proposal describing how you would plan, design, implement and manage this [login to view URL] Management Platform The project aims to create a technology platform to serve as an entry point to CLIE NT’s knowledge tools and resources ??" The KM Platform. The platform will be customizable to the user’s needs by tightly integrating a number of different applications and information resources into one branded seamless user experience. The KM platform centers on the workspace idea. The platform will provide different workspaces for different types of functionality: examples: “My Practice?? space a one-stop shopping place for practitioners, the “My Job?? space links to information needed for a particular job function, “My Office?? space for information of location. Deploy, and operate the integrated set of tools such as: **T1. KM Portal** providing access to all knowledge tools, directories, databases and communities. **T2. Personalization Tools** utilize role-based definitions, profile settings, usage patterns to customize the portal with user appropriate content and types. **T3. Content Management System** tools to manage the acquisition, preparation, categorization, presentation, and archival of multiple content types. **T4. Search and Taxonomy/indexing**uses knowledge domain taxonomies, meta-thesauri, content indexes, and user profiles to yield targeted search results. **T5. eDocumentation and ePublishing** indexes the organization's documents and parts of documents of multiple types for access on-line or in printed form. Demand Publishing produces "just in time" printed documents. **T6. KM Collaboration Tools** Include standard messaging platform: e-mail, calendar, contact management, file sharing, project management, team rooms, live videoconferencing, whiteboard, on-line collaboration, chat rooms, instant messaging and discussion threads for collaboration of teams or communities. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). **T7. Request Tracking System** tracks the client source, contact information, channel, type, and status of requests for knowledge-based requests, suggestions and client interactions. Supports contacts from through various channels (phone, email, Web). **T8. KM Databases and Directories** include knowledge bases to support specific domains or disciplines and knowledge directories linking users to knowledge experts and repositories. Finding external consultants or consulting institution, the internal Practice Map, and a yellow pages/Who’s Who application **T9. Value Analysis Tools** leverage data from Client Surveys, on-line Personalization trending and cross- channel Request Tracking to evaluate and attribute value to an organization's knowledge assets. **T10. Customer Relationship Management (CRM)** can be used to maintain a knowledge base of contact information, interactions, activities and interests of CLIENT's clients and potential donors. **T11. Connection to CLIENT ERP**will contain a workflow forcing the user to enter all high level and budget information in to the ERP and continue with the workflow into the CMS to continue setting up the KM components of the project. **T12. Mail Group functionality with added web interface** The mail group functionality must be preserved, but the user should have the option of managing their groups in a web environment **T13. Time Recording tool**to determine what the staff spends their time on. This functionality will eventually show up in PeopleSoft **T14. Project Management Tool t**o be able to track individual budget lines and be able to manager the project in grater detail, a third party tool is needed such as MS Project **T 15. Social Networking Tool -**we are going to see tendencies for staff with similar interests and duties gather around certain type of content. As social networking toll would allow for analyzing this activity to further refine the tools and user groups. It would be possible to add, subtract, or change the direction of the practice groups if this data would be available.. **T16. External Research and News availability**to serve up automatically index external content such as news feeds, academic research, peer organizations, etc for the CLIENT staff both by using push and pull technology. ## Platform Open at this point.
