Hi
A few months ago, I had a coder produce the attached desktop application.
After a year of using it, we have noticed some serious bugs and now feel that it's time to have the application re-written from scratch rather than trying to continually patch it.
An overview of the application:
- The application is shared over a network and must be able to support several users simultaneously.
- Allows users to input CV (resume) details.
- Publishes the details to Word in a customised template.
Login with "marcus" and "cvinput".
The original code seemed to "go over the top" with regards the use of OOP. We believe the application could be made simpler.
The application is shared over a network. However, we are using MS Access, not a true network database. The application "synchronises" itself periodically so that all users see more or less the same thing. It's not ideal but only three people use the application and we could not justify the cost of a full-blown network database.
Please take a look at the application, test it and let us know how much it will cost to rewrite it.
I do not have the source code (and in any event, I think it would be easier to start from scratch).
Thanks
Jake
