We need to get an iFilter working that will index XFDL (Extensible Forms Description Language) files which are part of the XML specification relating to XForms. The files are created by PureEdge 6.5 which was acquired by IBM.
The attached file is a sample Courts Martial Form for the US Air Force. The original form can be obtained here (<[login to view URL]>). The PureEdge viewer can be obtained here (<[login to view URL]>) for seeing the contents of the form. The specification for XFDL is here (<[login to view URL]>). A Dr. Dobbs Journal article that explains the basics is here (<[login to view URL]>).
The iFilter must work with MS Windows Server 2003 (32 or 64 bit) Index Service. It must be able to index _files_ this week, and later it needs to be able to read the _data_ from an XML _BLOB field_ in MS SQL Server 2003.
