Resume / Portfolio Website
Matt Arnold | October 10, 2005
I am looking to have a simple resume (sort of a portfolio) website put together with HTML/DHTML and possibly Flash. This will be a website that will be shown to consulting companies and should have a strong business feel with a touch of design. This project will essentially be a design project and while I want something that is very business oriented I also want something that employs top-notch design and color appropriately.
Possible pages (these are subject to change, but there shouldn’t be many more pages than the following):
- Home
- Course Work
- Independent Contracting
- Entrepreneurial Work
- Resume
- Contact
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Developing the overall design of the site (by providing a few samples initially).
2. Designing the site's navigation.
3. Creating each page and content area and organizing where that content will appear on the page where appropriate.
4. Create a textual logo out of my name; this should be very conservative and shouldn’t require much time.
*You will not be responsible for creating any of the content. I will provide you with the content when necessary.
Here are a few sites I like.
Sample Sites:

Let me know if you need clarification on any part of the project.
Thanks.
