I am looking for a custom built google sheet (has to be google sheet, not excel) to help my organization, USA Pentathlon easily share information among our coaches and athletes. This sheet isn't necessarily being used to track data from the workouts to analyze but to make sure everyone has access to the same schedule and program for a communication tool.
The sport of pentathlon is an Olympic Sport which includes swimming, running, shooting, horse back riding and fencing. We also do strength and conditioning training.
This form needs to do the following:
1. Have an overall 1 year calendar to easily look at dates and add in key events, competitions, etc.
2. Have an overall monthly schedule timeline where we can add in a full days schedule of practices (time, event, place) .
3. Next I need a page to show the overall training volume broken down by each of the 5 sports which easily conveys a picture of periodization over a 1 month, 3 month, 6 month, 9 month and a 12 month period in graph form, ideally overlaid in one graph to show what sport we are focusing on at any given point.
4. Next I need to add individual athletes training programs (workouts) broken down into 2 week blocks of training for the full year. This will show each athletes workouts (filled in by multiple coaches) in the 5 disciplines plus strength and conditioning easily from one page (if possible) so that each athlete can see what they will be doing for that period of training. On this document, I also need the ability for the coach and athlete to make notes about each workout.

Hello I understand the sheet you are trying to create as I have a similar one for when I coach. Although I don't input individual practices and that might a bit harder to visualize individually as if you have a lot of athletes you would have to scroll through a lot of them. I think the first 3 requirements you have for the yearly, monthly and overall graphical visualization of training is easily done. The individual athlete is easy to do as well although it might be a bit harder to look at and go through my suggestion would be that I implement a button to go directly to each athlete's sheet, and then a home button within those sheets to go back to yearly/monthly/graphs.
