Display error on individual password protected wp pages

WordPress doesn't display an error message if wrong password is entered on a protected post/page. I'm using some code now to display an error, but it's stored in a cookie so if I enter wrong password it shows error and if I visit another password protected page it'll show that error even though user didn't try to enter a password. So wondering if a user enters wrong password it will save cookie for that page only and no error will appear on the other password protected post unless user enters wrong password there too. If you can work on your own installed and then send the function that would be great. More details/screenshots in attached file.
