Development Of Partnership Management System Ver 1.0.0 Introduction: This is a web application containing the frontend and backend. The basic function of the system is to assist the church to securely collect, record and access partners /donors records using the web application. The system should accept the USD and Rand currencies. The system does not store any credit card records as these will be securely processed by Payfast and Paypal payment gateways. We may add more payment gateways in the future. 1. Frontend The end-users will access the links via the website to make once-off donation or to register as a partner/donor to make regular contributions. A comprehensive register form should be used to collect user data for admin purposes. If the user is in South Africa, the system should use rand currency. All other countries the system should use Paypal’s supported currencies such as USD, EURO ETC. There is currently a limit on the number of currencies that paypal support. Upon registration the system should generate a partnership number which should be sent to the user and also notify the admin. Admin should have the option to turn SMS notification on and off. We will use WinSMS gateway. 2. Backend The system should have two back-end privileges categorized as admin and super admin. Only super admin is able to add and remove admins and be able to see what each admin has done on the system. This log feature will be developed as we grow the system to enhance security and proper data handling. The admin should be able to manually add/edit partners. Whenever I say partners I mean donors. Every partner will have a unique partnership number. Partners can be filtered by country, province, town, active or inactive. INACTIVE PARTNERS CAN BE THOSE WHO HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO CONTRIBUTE OVER A CERTAIN PERION. THIS IS YET TO BE FINALISED. COMMUNICATION 1. EMAIL COMMUNICATION: When a user registers an email confirmation should be sent to the user. Upon every successful contribution an email should be sent to the user. The admin should also be notified 2. SMS NOTIFICATION: A decision will be made between BulkSMS and WinSMS Gateways. The idea is to have an option to send SMSes via the system. A filter will be used. Example, to send to all partners (global) or to send to all partners in certain country or town. Still thinking around this solution. All old data to be uploaded to the system via a CSV OR SQL. We already have some few records. Some detailed information. The Application Form (Pls see the attaché picture) Application /signup form features: 1. Upon submitting the application form, the user is greeted with a thank you message and instruction on how to make their first contribution. 2. As the client fills in the form, there will be a conditional statement on the country selection. If the client’s residential country is South Africa then the system must/will use rands as the currency. 3. For South African’s (Residency) we will offer two methods of payment which will be online (Via Payfast ) or offline where payment details will be displayed on the backend. NOTE: On the backend we will create a page which will display the banking details. We will show the reference number from the partnership number. This means that the ref field will be dynamic as it will pull the ref from the users partnership number. 4. All fields are mandatory and terms and conditions should be accepted. 5. Upon registration/signup, the admin should be notified on the backend. The admin will also get a notification email.
