Expert PHP / HTML / Javascript Developer

We're a fairly large Creative Agency based in the US. We are looking for another member to join our growing team and work on projects on a regular basis. This is a great way to get some agency experience! As one of our "Virtual Developers", you will be working remotely with our full-time, on-staff Senior Developers in a great team environment, and have access to a steady stream of work. You should be available by text/email without much delay and be available for occasional teleconferences/video conferences when working on projects MON-FRI from 8am-5pm EST. Having said that, we'll certainly be mindful of your freedom as a freelancer and remain flexible when we schedule! You must have a proven track record in the following disciplines: 40% PHP (Basic, Notepad PHP, No CMS frameworks) - we have a simple, proprietary routing file with PHP apps that drive our clients' websites & apps. Basic HTML/CSS/JQuery/JS drive the front-end. This isn't super-complex OOPHP... a mid-level PHP dev can become acclimated with our framework in a few hours. 40% Front End (HTML/CSS/JQuery/JS - we also tend to use PureCSS ([login to view URL]), it's similar to Bootstrap but much more minimal. Very strong CSS knowledge and ability to build a page exactly from a creative concept PDF a bonus). JS & JQuery gurus will be favored as well. 20% SQL (Our DB admin will setup the database in advance, but you'll obviously need to be able to write queries, etc and be able to request the things you need like views, etc) Optionally, any expertise with Wordpress/WooCommerce, Adwords/Bing Ads, Google My Business, Google Analytics, or paid social will be a plus. Certifications are also brownie points. All the work you complete will be project based (not hourly). We use Asana for project management. You'll have an assortment of jobs to choose from and will communicate your progress and communicate with our team in Asana. Projects will be small & manageable -- typically no more than $400-650 and no more than a week or so to complete. They could be as small as a half day's work and less than $100. You will select the work you want to complete based on the requirements, due date, and pay. Once you've proven your reliability, other options will become available. All work will be done via remote desktop or FTP into our sandbox system. We host on Windows Server with MSSQL and PHP 5.3. We will conduct a video interview with qualified candidates, so be sure to have your cam & mic configured. Using pure Javascript, when you mouseover the window, an animation of 10 images plays once. To repeat the animation, the user will move their mouse away and re-hover. On touch devices, the animation should be triggered by a single tap on the image. The image should be centered on the page and have a max-width of 70% on desktop, 85% tablet portrait, and 95% on mobile. You will have 24 hours to complete the project in a zip file.
