I need a WordPress website developed. I have the purchased the URL. The site is hosted by Bluehost. I am a writer. I want to build a website dedicated to writing, life, humor, etc. I've published a few things but I don't have a site to direct the reader to me. Currently, I don't plan to use the site for money so no e-commerce or annoying pop-up sales ads. I want an interactive reading room page and I will most likely post books that will link to Amazon. I want to blog with comments and comments on comments and moderated comments. I want to build a mailing list. I want to advocate for a social cause but not sure which one yet - literacy will most likely be the cause Some pages that I would like: Reading Room, Portfolio, Blog, Contact, Writing Resources such as Tips and Tricks, Journaling. On the home page: -Welcome/About Me -Links -Recent Blog Posts -Slider for my quotes and pics -Latest News or coming events -Social Media Icons -A mailing list option. This must be tasteful and not obtrusive. I dislike sites that pop the mailing list request over the content. I like a clean look with no clutter on the page. I purchased a StudioPress Theme Beautiful Pro. I'm not sure that it conveys the correct message. I dislike harsh colors, red especially. I do not like harsh or odd fonts.
