We need to develop an Activity Plugin for Moodle. - Activity Module Plugin that works like conference room with 1 teacher, 1 assistant and many students. - No video. Just a main chatroom and a whiteboard. - The whiteboard behaves as a separated chat room on the same screen. Everybody can see the whiteboard feed but only the teacher, the assistant and those students authorized by teacher or assistant can write on it. Teachers and assistants can authorize and revoke authorization to whiteboard to any student while activity is running (live). - Users can type using LaTeX code and the whiteboard MUST show the compiled code. (MOST IMPORTANT PART). - After session is finished the chat history and Whiteboard can be saved as a text file.

Hi, I'm Dananjaya M. Perera. I'm currently working as a Tech Lead/Senior Software engineer and have more than 8 year of experience. I have lot of experience with moodle platform and moodle plugin environments. So I've sure I can deliver this product easily. I red the description that you provided and I have few doubts and suggestion as well. 1. Is the assistant have separate role or is it Non-editing teacher? 2. No video is very easy. Otherwise you have to get a streaming server as well. Chat room and whiteboard will be easy. 3. Why use LaTeX code? can you give me an example what will write by user. And if more than 1 user can input LaTeX code at a time, How all can show on whiteboard? 4. If whiteboard comes with drawing facility.
