PHP and MYSQL development work, quick project

We run a website that uses PHP and MYSQL on a Linux stack. We have a set of 'rates' from a supplier along with something called a 'zones' file - these will be supplied as XLS / XLSX files for you. The tasks are as follows: - Quick html form updates to our html file (it's a case of adding some new checkboxes or a select dropdown and making it look neat and tidy, i will provide you with a spec of how i envisage this looking and you will implement it in standards compliant html5 and css2/3) - PHP work: - Connect to an API and retrieve whether or not a SERVICE is available, i will provide you with a login to this and documentation (a wiki site) on how it all works, should be simple via a CURL request or maybe even file_get_contents (these are just some ideas) - If service is available then you will need to lookup the postcode or country code in the zones file and return the available ZONE number (for example nn13 6ly is in zone 3 (this is only an example!)) - Using the ZONE number and potential service for address you will obtain a CHARGE rate from two database tables - You will return those charge rates to the quoting index file - The final step is for you to PUSH to a $services array (which is a part of a global file which will contain the file you are working on here) - We need this doing within 2 weeks - You will need to import .XLS/.XLSX files into something like phpmyadmin (just my suggestion again) - You will need to setup your own server with phpmyadmin/mysql/php for testing -- i will provide you with basic SQL Schema which you can use (it is how the site is currently setup) - I will provide you with our current file which needs adapting - I will provide you with the API login and details - I will provide you with a quick sketch of the html changes to be made - I will review your work and make sure you are aware of what the final output is and what is expected - This isn't that complicated, it's some sql queries, some php and a tiny bit of HTML. Provided you know these technologies well, along with perhaps some JOIN's in sql you'll be fine.
