Wordpress Tweaks and Customizations

Brief:

Blog has around 6000 articles. Need to fix the errors on the blog, add new template Genesis and edit it to match brand colours and clean styling, add some features on front end and backend. Move the integrated forum into wordpress installation of its own. Move the wordpress directory.

Following are all the tasks:

1. Disband [url removed, login to view] to a wordpress installation of its own

2. All non html uploads to Amazon S3 buckets and error free migrations

3. All Wordpress deployments to Github

4. Fix all internal Wordpress errors and upgrade to latest version

5. Install Genesis template and make style changes to match Website design guidelines

6. Hide tags across the blog’s front end. Use it only as a back-end function

7. Option to insert CTA mid content

8. Have information available about the exam in tabbed (design call) interface. These tabs should be fixed on scrolling. Reference will be provided

9. Number of tabs can be edited from the backend. Data for tabs can be sourced from a page, or a category archive.

10. Infinite scrolling from post to post ([url removed, login to view]).

11. Move Wordpress installation from [url removed, login to view] to [url removed, login to view], while retaining current homepage & other static Ruby on Rails pages.

13. If an article exist in multiple categories, then option to choose which slug appears in article URL. For example, if categories hierarchy is category>subcategory>sub-subcategory, then we should be able to choose [url removed, login to view] as the preferred URL.

14. Anytime an article is edited, and the URL changes, a redirection from old URL to new URL will be made. And a common redirection dashboard should reflect all such redirections across the blog.
