Technical aspects:
**Search**
Only the animals titles would be returned in a search - although species would be tagged which would be searched ie. lion tag:(*lion, lions, cat, predator, predators, panthero leo*). For the most part the search will only return one result.
Visually - the animals brought up in the search would populate the left column on the home page replacing the family groups.
**Check-box**
You can check off an animal off the home page, in the family list, or on the detailed species account and it would be reflected throughout the site.
The entire list can be cleared on the home page
If there are simple solution to saving several lists I would be really interested, if it adds to much to the cost it can wait for version 2.0
**App framework**
Let me know how you see development but I would imagine the best route would be you to build the frame with the splash, home and one species page and have some sort of auto populating system. I would then use your HTML framework and generate the remaining 90 or so species. This will hopefully keep the coding price down.
**links**
Links off the home page to "conservation" & "plan a safari" These links would point to on-line HTML content - ideally it would visually stay within the app but changes could be up-loaded by FTP rather than resubmitting new builds. I'm not sure what this involves - if it is overly complex it can just open up safari.
**Translations**
Initially the app would only be available in English but I would like to keep the possibilities of other language versions open.
There is a plan for a version 2.0 which would involve global positioning and a personal diary see bottom of:
