a better option would be to use google docs which will update for all members who are accessing it, I have completed similar projects like this through python. I can code the logic that you are looking for. good luck.

What I understand is that there will be an Excel sheet that is updated on one machine and some script need to run every hour to do some calculations based on the values on the sheet. I can do the job, and I have experience with python and with sockets programming if needed.
