Mentoring on using python and YAML for document automation

I am trying to develop a free software package ([login to view URL]) for document automation. I already made the package, some scripts and I have the docassemble running on Azure and accessed from a domain I registered. However, as I am not from the IT area (programming in python is just a hobby), I would like help to solve this doubts that I am having along the way with avoiding converting objects in string (I explain it here: [login to view URL]), which I believe are quite simple for those with experience in web development.
