I am looking for someone experienced in micropython (I'm actually using Adafruit hardware, so it's her simplified version, CircuitPython). The first project I have deals with automatically refilling a water tank. I realize that this could be done without a microcontroller. The purpose of starting with a small, low-risk project like this is it gives us a chance to work together before I bring you into larger, client-facing engagements. Video of the device: [login to view URL] Components: Water level sensors: [login to view URL] Controller: [login to view URL] Relay board: [login to view URL] Valve: [login to view URL] Please respond with something that proves you actually looked at the above and understand it :-)

Hello, my name's Jorge, I am an electronics engineer with experience programming embedded devices. I have read the description of the project, and I saw the video of the mechanism to be used with the valves. Overall the project looks straightforward, I will only need the details of the valve (the datasheet features all the different models). Please contact me to discuss all the details of your project, I am able to complete, and I'd be glad to answer any questions you may have, in order to start working on it as soon as possible. Thanks in advance for your time.

Hi, Thank you for sharing the video to understand for your requirement. Do you want this project without a microcontroller or with microcontroller because you have sent the link of controller also? I can do this project. you can send me message any time I can be available as per your time zone. Thanks, Chanchal K

Hi, I'm an embedded software engineer with a lot of Python experience. I have a pyboard that I use occasionally. I understand you want to refill a tank automatically, as soon as the level is low but the sensor you've chosen is a poor one, I think. The Adafruit page says it's very sensitive, even to drops, meaning that even after the tank goes empty, the wet sensor will have to dry first before it can inform the controller that the tank is empty, resulting in slow response. I can think of one alternative at least. Contact me to discuss details.

I am an Electrical Engineer having specialization in Electronics Control and Power, teaching at well known University in Pakistan. I have my BS degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power. Also i hire many persons in my Company for freelancing. They know many skills like Graphic designer, Logo Designer, Video Editing and Data entry. I have taught the followings courses, and also done many projects related to these subjects as well as related to consumer electronics products. 1. Control System Design & Modelling (Continuous, Discrete, Linear, Non-Linear, Optimal, Fuzzy Logic + Matlab & Simulink) 2. Digital System/Logic Design (Verilog, VHDL, Logisim) 3. Digital Signal Processing (MATLAB) 4. Micro-controllers (8051, Arduino, PIC) 5. Power Electronics (PSIM, MATLAB, PSpice) 6. Control of Electric Machine Drives 7. Circuit Analysis and Designe etc 8. PCB Design (Proteous + Ultiboard + Altium Designer) I assure you, if you assign your project to me, you surely gonna work with me in future. Note: I also provide the services in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science related projects.

Hi, I have a lot experience in designing embedded systems in general and worked on a couple of projects using micropython but on an esp32 not this adafruit feather, the project seems simple and interesting I’m curious though if you need everything designed including the schematics and a board layout or just a wired prototype, also if there are any other considerations besides the functionality, like power consumption, also the sensor has a 5v (4.5V minimum) output while the mcu only works with 3.3v logic and looking at the datasheet it doesn’t seem to have 5v tolerant pins so an adequate levelshifting and protection will be needed ( a simple current limiting resistor would work fine for a wired prototype), also I believe that the ball valve is considered an inductive load so it will probably need a flyback diod. Looking forward to working with you

Hi, The relay board can be driven directly by the ATSAMD21 (3.3V logic), LDO on the Feather can supply up to 500 mA at 3.3V and relay draws 100 mA so additional LDO is not needed. Liquid sensor requires a 4.5V supply voltage (minimum), 5V VBUS can be used to power sensors up. In order to connect the sensor to the ATSAMD21, I'll use a simple voltage divider (5V to 3.3V). Valve can be connected to COM and NO relay pins. The project is very simple, uC checks liquid sensors at regular interval. Valve is opened if both sensors show high logic level and closed when both sensors show a low logic level. The price includes the Feather board and 5 hours of work: 2h system setup (prepare mock-up system, set up the development environment) 1h development 1h testing 1h commissioning I'll do a mock-up system using push button and standard relay. Kind regards, Krzysztof

Hello, I took a look at what was asked and it's a super simple project. You will need a 12V power supply for the sensors and the valve. I hope you've chosen one of the 2 wire auto return valves for that relay. Also sensor output will be higher than 3v3 logic, resistor divider must be implemented on the inputs. Since I am a new freelancer here and want to get my first work done, I kept the bid on the very low side. I must admit that I usually work with C on microcontrollers and never worked with micropython although I have some experience on regular python. I don't have any problems with adapting to different environments and learning new things. I hope this will be a foundation to work together again given the opportunity. Regards
