Sharon's kitchen remodel

I have three angle walls in my living area that I want to remove. I suppose the builder added them to make the rooms seem larger. My living room is too small and because the way the kitchen is designed I feel like I can have more room by removing the wall. I hired a kitchen designer come out and she suggested removing the entire wall and creating a really big kitchen island. I'm not totally sold on her plans due lack of counter space if I used the double ovens. Although I want the open concept, I'm not sure how I feel about entering in the front door and food preparation, etc is the first thing you see. Too, she suggested replacing the kitchen pantry closet with a pantry cabinet which would give more more space. Currently there is a faux truss that extends to the closet which would also be removed. Also, have considered removing the angle between the kitchen but leaving the wall & extending that wall a couple of feet. This would allow me to possible create a kitchen pantry on that wall and move the refrigerator or double ovens to the current pantry position. Also, would consider moving the double French doors to the opposite wall to allow closing in that angle wall (possible match the other side in distance).
